The ensemble Polýnushka collects these old songs in its own research work and cultivates the special singing techniques of Russian peasant women and monks.
The listeners are carried off into the vastness of the Russian soul through the music of the rituals and the stories of the Baba. In this way, old Russia, including its songs, dances and stories, can be experienced a little more for German viewers.
